Introduction to the Adolescent Community

The Adolescent Community is a carefully prepared environment that supports the transition from childhood to adulthood. During the Introduction to the Adolescent Community, guides will present an overview of the curriculum and how it supports the developmental needs of adolescents. Attendees of this meeting will walk away with a clear understanding of the fundamental principles and goals of the Adolescent Community. Specific topics will include adolescent brain development, the three-year-cycle, math, Spanish, language arts, humanities, occupations, and the farm.
