We had our first Going-Out this year last week, with two beginning-cycle children planning a trip to Central Market to buy ingredients for smoothies. They went through the process of reading the recipe, making a shopping list (doubling the ingredients so they could make enough for everyone in the community), planning the Going-Out, and calling Central Market the day of to make sure they had passion fruit.
