Spilled Ink

From Terra · Nicholas

Spilled Ink

It is known as Japanese paper marbling and translates to “spilled ink.” The ink floats on top of the water using Sumi ink and a dispersant and then is “pulled” using rice paper. It always yields beautiful results, and the children love to see their print magically go from the water to the paper. It is a mesmerizing and meditative experience.
