We had a surprising new pet for a week in Ladybug Garden - a ladybug that made its home in our classroom! On Monday, it was on the back door, on Tuesday, we saw it on the windowsill, and on Wednesday, a child found it on our apple-slicing tray! Each day, the children searched for it until it flew out the front door one morning during arrival.
