Introduction to the Youngest Children's Community

We look forward to seeing you for an engaging presentation to learn how children, typically between 16 months and 3 years old, begin to explore independence, self-expression, and their place in the world through the uniquely designed Montessori Youngest Children's Community.

In this thoughtfully prepared environment, children have access to purposeful spaces for food preparation, eating, dressing, toileting, group activities, individual work, and quiet reflection. These everyday routines become rich learning experiences that support physical, emotional, and social development.

Through meaningful interactions with both adults and peers outside their immediate family, young children begin to build social skills, a sense of belonging, and a deeper connection to their environment. This presentation offers insight into how the Montessori approach nurtures each child's natural curiosity and growing independence during this foundational stage of life.

Presentations are for parents interested in either campus. This is an adults-only event, although infants in arms are welcome. Please make childcare arrangements for any older children.
