Welcome to Slow Austin Summer ~ A different take on summer camp! We designed our camp to provide a more relaxed environment for your child to learn authentically. Our approach creates space for deeper exploration and opportunities for self-directed creativity to flourish. Each week will have a unique theme with new experiences and fun activities. Each day adds new experiences to build on the previous ones, with plenty of time for self-directed exploration and creativity. The smaller group sizes allow for a more intimate experience, with time and space to allow for new friendships to form. Our camp counselors are AMI-trained guides, experienced assistants, or alums with the support of “Junior Counselors” from our Adolescent Community.
